ShockMatiK Logo

A comprehensive telemetry system engineered for precise analysis and advanced tuning of motorsport suspensions.

Hardware: Track to PC, Seamlessly

A robust suite of devices dedicated to high-fidelity telemetry data logging.

4x Measurement Unit

Equipped with linear displacement sensors mounted parallel to the dampers, these units accurately record suspension travel over time. Integrated accelerometers simultaneously capture sprung mass acceleration across three axes.

Central Control Unit

Acts as the wireless hub, synchronizing all measurement units effortlessly. Collected data is then efficiently transferred to your PC via USB or Wi-Fi.

Sampling Rate 200 Hz
A/D Resolution (Travel) 16-bit (65,536 levels)
Accelerometer Range Up to 16 G
Power Source Integrated Li-Ion battery (12 hours of continuous use)

The standard package includes KPC1-250 linear potentiometric sensors with 250 mm stroke distance and rod end bearings for straightforward parallel mounting alongside the damper. Integration of compact sensors utilized in ECAS systems is currently being tested.

Touch Interface 4.3" LCD (800x480 resolution)
Onboard Storage Capacity for approx. 17,000 minutes of telemetry
Connectivity USB-C (charging/data) & Wi-Fi
Power Source Integrated Li-Ion battery (15 hours of continuous use)

Wireless communication with the measurement units drastically simplifies vehicle installation. Furthermore, the entire ShockMatiK system operates completely independent of the vehicle's electrical network.

Software: ShockMatiK Suite

A powerful toolset tailored for analyzing and managing your telemetry data.

Project Manager

A dedicated Windows desktop application designed to streamline the downloading and organization of hardware data. It allows for efficient project-based sorting and the addition of crucial context to every run.

Telemetry Analyzer

Your primary environment for data visualization. It features interactive measurement cursors for automatic frequency calculation (sprung/unsprung mass) and mathematical filtering to isolate critical damper movements from track noise.

Data Retrieval USB, Wi-Fi
Organization Structure Local database, hierarchical sorting by team and vehicle
Supported Metadata Timestamp, damper setup (clicks), track surface, driver feedback
OS Compatibility Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11

Consider the Project Manager the central hub for your testing program, built to prevent data loss and file clutter. It provides a straightforward interface for pulling records from the hardware unit and organizing them logically—whether by specific chassis, driver, or circuit.

Crucially, you can attach detailed notes to every session. Log your current compression and rebound settings, weather conditions, or specific track events (like a heavy braking zone or a curb strike). This ensures you know exactly which mechanical adjustment caused a specific change in handling when reviewing the data later in the Telemetry Analyzer.

Signal Processing Mathematical filtering to eliminate high-frequency noise
Visualization Engine Interactive plotting with precise X/Y zooming and panning
Analysis Tools Dual cursors with instant oscillation frequency calculation (Hz)
Data Perspective Toggle between individual damper travel and chassis acceleration

The Telemetry Analyzer is the core of the suite, optimized for rapid evaluation of raw track data. It translates suspension movement into clear, interactive graphs. You can easily navigate the timeline, zoom in on micro-events, and dissect critical sections of a lap, such as a jump landing or corner entry.

The integrated measurement cursors are invaluable for setup tuning. By snapping them to consecutive peaks on the graph, the software instantly calculates the exact oscillation frequency of the suspension. If the raw sensor data is cluttered by engine vibration or rough tarmac, applying the built-in mathematical smoothing provides a clean curve, highlighting only the fundamental motion of the damper.
